Imco Timber are sole distributors and agents for Sia Abuto Timber Product. One of the few mills in Europe who can offer correctly graded battens according to BS 5534:2014+A2:2018 standard in Baltic Amber colour. We are also one of the only suppliers to offer the battens in WPA benchmark treatment according to BS 8417:2011+A1:2014. Our battens have full third party accreditation from CATG.  These battens are kiln dried and manufactured FULL size size, carefully inspected for permissible characteristics and defects for grading including knot size, wane, fissures, slope of grain, distortion, decay, resin pockets etc. Kiln dried to the correct moisture content provides proper treatment (WPA approved) with 60 years service life guarantee against wood rotting fungi and insect attacks.

Lengths are heavier in 4.8m, all timber is FSC certified, UKTR compliant and the source of logs is 100% conflict free.

We are also able to offer battens with barcodes on each length. These are typically sold to importers or DIY chains for sale to the public. Each length can contain barcoded labels on the end or face of each piece. We can offer these with or without pressure treatment.

This is where we can offer almost any other type of batten size in either sawn or treated. Typical sizes are 16x38, 19 x 32, 19 x 38, 19x50, 22x38, 22x50, 25 x 38, 25x50, 32x50.
